There were two stretches last night that killed us. The second quarter where KD and Curry killed our bench, and the second part of the 3rd where our bench couldn't score at all.
Despite those two bad stretches, we were within one shot of winning this game last night, a wide open Marcus Morris 3. That was a great look, it didn't go down, there's no need to panic and throw blame at everyone after an all around great game against a historically great Warriors team.
Shooting too many threes didn't cost us the game. Several unforced turnovers in the last few minutes, including a few by Kyrie, and one of our best 3 point shooters missing a wide open three cost us the game.
Overall, I am VERY encouraged by what i saw. Our starters can hang with the Warriors starters and could beat them. Once our bench gets it together, we could take them. That is more than any other team in the league can say right now.
