Kyrie already said he would re-sign in Boston.
I think it was October that Kyrie made that announcement.

I don't think he's that dumb, but emotion could always trump reason.

Not such a ringing endorsement from the Ringer.   ;D

Ridiculous to put Kyrie in the same class as John Wall, Draymond, and Butler.

I would tend to agree that Kyrie is more of a diva. but we'll never know for certain how accurate the Cavs' beatwriters were about his issues in Cleveland.  We can only compare it to what we have seen elsewhere.

Why is Irving considered a diva? Because he didn't want to play with lbj? Outside of wade, no other "star" has lined up to play with him.  Actually James went to south beach to join him. To me, Irving is a superstar I in progress, he is not done , and he is a special talent the league.

no way in hell.  he left Cleveland to get away from Bron.  0% chance he wants to join him in LA

I really wish Kyrie Irving would stop bringing negative publicity to this young Celtics team. Geeeeze.

The team does not need his constant nonsense.

No trolling, but what negative publicity? IMO, we are seeing a young star trying to lead a mostly young team. Which is greatly needed. F last year, that team had a great, but unexpected run. This team is more designed for a finals run. They may not make it, I think Toronto is better than Cleveland was last year. I also think this years Celtic team, by playoffs, will be better than last years team. They have their best ball ahead .

He either resigns in Boston, or he and KD team up on the Clippers or Nets. No way he goes crawling back to Bron.

Totally.

He forced his way out of Cleveland because he didn't want to play with LeBron, but only for a year or two, after which time he would join up with LeBron again.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Kyrie would join the Knicks or Nets if he left

Not Lakers

Anything short of reaching game 7 of the ECF and I think he may leave

Vs having these youngsters like Tatum, Brown, rozier have the upper hand

Kyrie Andrew Irving forged his OWN path - from CLE - from LeBron James of all people.

He KNEW that he was destined for GREATER.

He has that opportunity in BOSTON.

Many of us have doubted him - including ME. We ALL have seen him GROW - with just recently him seemingly turning the corner and "GETTING IT"...

Some of us are IGNORING what he has ALREADY sacrificed...his BODY...in leading this team in taking CHARGES...along with SMART...who would've thunk it?

Making such a commitment to DEFENSE means something, to BOSTON.

Him apologizing to LeBron James was simply him REALIZING what it takes to LEAD....be GREAT. LeBron James showed him that in CLE.

He NOW sees that he can GROW this IN BOSTON - on his OWN TERMS.

Why in the WORLD would he want to reset his DESTINY once again?

He is the PILOT here...Gordon Hayward will VERY SOON be the CO-PILOT...GH will even PILOT this team in stretches....for GAMES. Tatum, JB, Smart, Morris and Big Al will carry this team at times as well.

He has an AWESOME crew in Baynes, Williams, Semi, Terry, Theis and the rest of our fine bench.

Why in the world would he chose to RESET it AGAIN in LA?

Kyrie Andrew Irving is HOME. He's not leaving.

Nope, this is the media making up stories during a slow time, the NYC and LA media are generally the worst about this stuff because they think that their respective cities are the center of the universe.
