Let’s win the championship this season with Kyrie as finals MVP. Will make his decision to stay a little easier.

I think Danny is doing everything he can to make Kyrie feel empowered that this is his team.

Nah....unless Kyrie wants to go back to being Robin once again..

Or being patted on the head like a puppy..

Little Mountain is a CELTIC, now....a GROWN MAN. He has his OWN batcave and it's no longer in CLE OR in Gotham..

It's in BOSTON.

Kyrie already said he would re-sign in Boston.
I think it was October that Kyrie made that announcement.
As one former Patriots coach famously quoted (paraphrasing) - 'I reserve the right to change my mind'

And as I stated in another thread, this is today's NBA like it or leave it.  The players have the power because it's a 5 man game and one guy can impact a franchise so much.

That said, I think he's got all he could ever want here unless he hates the climate. Organization is poised to win, it's got the coach, GM, ownership, great fan base.  If anything I think they'd commit to Kyrie and push out the the younger guys if needed.

Go to Lakers and he won't be the alpha in the team.

He'll be following LeBron's footsteps like a dog, just like all of the other stars LeBron is trying to recruit.

If he leaves and does not go to LAL, and AD is not traded, he could wind up in NO.  AD is a great player but not a vocal leader. With Jrue, Mirotic and Randle, that could be a contending team. The Pelicans also have their first round pick which will probably be a lottery pick

I don't think they have enough cap space.
