That's terrible news. Him and the Pacers were really rolling this season, hate to see a young talented guy like that go down with a serious injury.

Sucks sucks sucks.  I like the Pacers and I really appreciate all that Oladipo has done to turn himself into a very good player.

I guess it means the Celts will probably have an easier time making their way into the top 3 of the standings, but it's just awful for an injury like that to have anything to do with it.

Looked like a possible dislocation. Didn't he already miss time this year due to knee tendinitis?

His injury looked really strange, it is like his leg just gave out all of the sudden.  At first his teammates didn't think it was that bad and were trying to help him up.  This really sucks.  That kid is a great player.  Hopefully it isn't bad as expected.

Terrible news. Will likely drop them in the standings a bit, making a top-3 seed pursuit a bit easier for us. Hope they take this game against Toronto tonight and do us another favor.

after watching the video again, the Pacer's trainer quickly puts a towel over the knee right after he gets next to Vic.  Oh man that doesn't look good.
Someone else said it was a kneecap injury.  Hopefully not an ACL.

Indiana rallying in the absence of their star -- up 9 after 3.

Awful -- he's been so impressive.  Really too bad.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Really unfortunate news for Oladipo and the Pacers. You really have to appreciate what they have done against what seemed to be the clear top 4 in the EC. Who knows, maybe they will pull a 2017-18 Cs and still compete without their injured star.

If not, it should be a slam dunk for those top 4 teams to make it to the 2nd round. If we can't get into the top 2, then I don't really care if we are 3rd or 4th.

Got a closer look. Pretty sure it's a dislocation. I'm sure the big concern now is ligament - or worse - tendon damage.
