We should pick Goga Bitadze. Center with tremendous potential, playing for the same team Jokic played. This guy will be one of the best Centers in NBA. You will see. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_B-rpvnRDs

Would like to get the take from other Euro members, who have seen Goga play.

Androslav?

he made 18 out of 44 3 point shots, 40.9% last sesson.
That's an awfully small sample size.

Also Basketball reference lists him for 5/16 on threes and a 71% free throw percentage.

I think if we keep the 14th pick Danny drafts Brandon Clark because he should be able to contribute right away at the power forward small ball center spot. I don't want to draft him since I feel his upside is quite limited and his lack of length concerns me.

I would focus on long guys who project to be good 3 point shooters, such as Bol and Mutombo nephew.

My final mock draft choices - Okpala, Reid, Johnson

14. KZ Okpala - you want to grab the next "Siakam"? well this is the guy.  6'8-6'9 F with 7'1 wingspan.  The way he can find space/creative ways to finish around the basket is elite.  Hard to stop once on the move.  Good shooting form.  Good versatile defender. Needs to add more mass

20. Naz Reid - A 6'10 version and better shooting version of Montrezl Harrell.  Loves contact around the basket.  High motor.   But can also spread the floor and hit the 3's.  Needs to learn how to harness his energy a little better at times but is still young

22. Cam Johnson - From 6'2 pg to now 6'8 g/f.  He reminds me of Shaun Livingston/Klay Thompson.  One of the top shooters.  The issue is , is skinny and can be considered either a versatile defender or tweener defender that can't really keep up with top level guards but not strong enough to defend forwards.   End of the day, could be a very good 6th man/3 point specialist the Celts could use

All those guys should be available at 22 on draft night. If the C's have the same board as you they should try to trade back or out to get the best value.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Think you're arguably reaching with all 3 of these picks

Okpala = Rodney Hood
Naz Reid = Andray Blatche
C. Johnson = James Jones

This is each of these players best case scenarios, in my opinion. Not high on any of them.

That would be a mediocre draft to put it lightly.

Give me Hachimura, Kabengele, and Kevin Porter Jr.

Wrong

Rodney Hood has t rex arms. Not a strong finisher around the basket

Naz Reid is no Blatche... you must be jokin

There's a reason Okpala is projected to fall in to the second round in a lot of mock drafts. He's a liability on D. I remember him getting taken to the tool shed by Lu Dort and Jaylen Nowell this past season. Not saying he can't improve, but i'll be outraged if we reach and take him 14th

As for Naz Reid..same deal. Theres a reason a lot of mocks have in the second round. He'll be a mediocre NBA defender at best. Also, he plays selfishly and is a ball stopper. The last thing the Celtics need is another one of those. He's got enough talent that you hope he falls to you at 51, but taking him with a first rounder is lunacy.

1 - PJ Washington, although he seems to be moving up in mocks now. I've given up hope Doumbouya might fall to 14.

2 - Nickell Alexander-Walker

3 - Luka Samaric

4 - Jontay Porter

I wonder if most of the board know who Goga Bitadze is aside from their first impression that he's a "stiff". Can't believe that people want a bunch of obscure wings and guards over him at #14. I mean I'd understand if guys like Rui Hachimura are their first choice at #14 (although there's a good argument that Bitadze would be a better pick), but guys like Okpala? What?

I highly doubt that we will keep all these picks but if we do my favourites are:

Alexander-Walker: https://youtu.be/h-CPBhXHkj8

Thybulle: https://youtu.be/aMUcaPcw-f8

Wildler: https://youtu.be/0VspDO1zjXk

Darius Bazley: https://youtu.be/vL8N1QUjV2Q

Daquan Jefferies: https://youtu.be/WTuvrm8witk (biggest sleeper)

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I would not want Danny to take players with those three picks.

I hope he finds a way to trade one or two of them and get future picks in return. The only pick I would try to keep is #14 and take Nickeil Alexander-Walker.
