He looks good tonight. A nice dunk, multiple 3’s and multiple FTs along with the usual passing and solid D.

He did okay. 36 points. Pretty good.

But did you see Jae Crowder get 30 in that loss last night? That's the guy we need.

Wyc should lobby the NBA to allow the C's to play Minnesota every game.  Gordo owns them.

hopefully this game gives gordon the confidence to start looking for his shot more.

what I liked about this game was going to the hoop for layups and dunks.

Oh man, maybe this means that tomorrow a certain somebody should congratulate Hayward on his 36 tonight in a WINNING effort, or will he?  ::)

Agreed. And the shots looked really good!

We see what it looks like when one of our guys is going off - Kyrie, Jayson, Jaylen and Hayward. They have to figure out how to complement each other. Got three and a half months still until the playoffs start...

There's just something about the Wolves where Gordon Hayward erupts. 30 points in their first meeting. 35 points in their second meeting.

Can Hayward play the Wolves every night from now on?

I just wish we get this version of Hayward each game...problem is when Kyrie comes back, he is content on camping in the baseline or not aggresive to the hoop.
Rofl. Evan Turner often plays this well when Dame sits too, right?

In both Minnesota games he seemed to have a real pep in his step that just hasn't been there every game and I do have to wonder if part of it has to do with on/off soreness and dealing with scar tissue that limits him in some games. I mean he followed up his last 30 point performance with 8 points on 33% shooting and 5 points on 22% shooting. He looked amazing tonight, but two nights ago he went 0-6. You just have to be patient with him. I will say the same thing I've been saying all along - I'm hopeful that after the all-star break he'll be closer to 100%.

FWIW, this was a more encouraging performance than the last Wolves game, because he seemed to be attacking the basket more and got some lift on a couple dunks which seems like real progress instead of just a hot shooting night.

Yes, I would agree. Last minny performance was alot of jumpers if I remember. But Hayward was driving to the hoop and had several dunks this game.

Once he consistently is driving to the hoop and making shots, it is going to open up his game/this offense alot more.

Maybe kyrie being out is exactly what Gordon needs to ramp up his aggressiveness. I'm sure he'll still have his ups and downs, but hopefully he's able to build off this one. Especially if he continues being more of a main option if kyrie is out for multiple games moving forward.

Here’s your first TP, Jban13!

Welcome to a forum where interesting ideas abound.

Hayward showed some courage today. And embraced the idea in the post-game interviews that this team needs him to be more aggressive. He did it tonight.... keep going Gordo...leap of faith.

Welcome. TP.

Yes, it does seem that aggressiveness - getting into the teeth of the defense - has been his primary shortcoming. Feels like it's gradually coming back.
