Did Brown deserve that Technical foul vs Doncic?

Maybe Doncic should watch where he's going. Even if you could go either way on interpretation of the incident. Doncic grabbing his lower back like he was playing for his homeland soccer team was way too much.

Brown should of flopped. He would of gotten the foul call.

I thought it was questionable call. But, overall I think the refs got it right. Things were getting a little edgy out there. The refs just wanted to assert control.

Serendipity played a role...there was technical for hanging on the rim beforehand. Thus, the call didn't hurt the Celtics. They got the ball back.

Yeah, I’d say so.  It wasn’t accident and while doncic maybe shouldn’t have been looking forward, this ain’t boxing.  Guys shouldn’t have to protect themselves all times.  Perhaps the guys should play better if they don’t want to be stood up by a rookie (whi incidentally looks like the real deal).

Yup and I have no problem with what he did. Like that Brown showed some toughness and grit and decided to let Doncic know, this league isn't his yet.

Yup, and I actually think what Brown did was a good sign for the Celtics. Doncic was staring down Kyrie and Brown popped him to stand up for his teammate when he could have moved out of the way.

It shows that this team still has unity among their struggles.

My Celtics goggles tell me that Doncic should be watching where he was running, as Brown also has a right to move freely on the court. The difference is Brown saw him coming and braced instead of moving out of his way. However tech foul was the right call, got to protect the player.

Why should Brown move out of the way???  Doncic was dumb to be not looking where he was running.  And then he added to the stupidity of it, by flopping so bad.

So everytime a player makes a dumb move and runs into another guy it is a T on the guy he ran into?  That is complete bs.  Yeah Brown leaned into it a bit, but not at a T level.  Personal foul, maybe.

Personally, I would have called for a T on Doncic.

No, I don't think he deserved it.   It should have been a common foul or maybe a no call.
