Apparently Fultz and his agent are angling to get traded now, too lol
wonderful, simply wonderful. while i hope fultz is physically okay, i hope the sixers crash and burn horribly as a franchise. nothing personal of course.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Not going to happen as long as Embiid stays healthy.

It's actually better for Fultz if the upcoming examination finds a minor, but limiting, problem that went unnoticed than if he's physically ok, because of the potential long term ramifications if this is just psychosomatic.  So, while I get your point, and would usually agree with you, this is one of those very rare times when I'm actually going to hope a player is injured.

When people are free to do as they please, they usually imitate each other.

This latest agent and seeing specialist thing sounds a bit Kawhi-like, could be an excuse to sit out the season since he’s technically cleared to play

Clearly the C’s didn’t like something about him, as trading down from a consensus #1 is pretty ballsy.

This whole situation is becoming pretty sad. I hope he can leave Philly (for nothing in return) and resurrect his career.

Is this more about wanting to be right about draft binkies or Fultz's well being at this time?

At the time of the trade, I thought Ainge didn't want a pg because he had IT.  Then he traded for Kyrie a month later.  Ainge deserves major credit for passing on Fultz.  Also at the time, more people liked Josh Jackson over Tatum.  Ainge is the man.

I was one who believed in Fultz.

Based on all the information fans had at the time, that was reasonable. Fultz demonstrated amazing basketball abilities in college.

None of us had information about his personality or character. None of us saw him in private workouts. None of us saw the start of the yips before the draft, because he wasn't doing any public basketball stuff.

In situations like that, I think fans get a pass for their perception of a player. It's the fans that wanted Kris Dunn over Jaylen Brown, or Josh Jackson over Jayson Tatum, or something like that that have own up to their evaluation of talent. Those were clearly poor basketball evaluations.

You did not think it was odd that he missed half a year of college?   That was a big warning sign to me.

I was too.  I thought he'd be a perennial all star starting within a few years.  The yips didn't start until after the summer league.  I was also a big Tatum fan so I wasn't too upset about the trade.  It's incredible that Fultz can't get past this.  It reminds me of Rick Ankiel.

I liked Kris Dunn a lot as a late lottery pick.  I couldn't understand the people who wanted him at number 3.  A lot of people rejected factoring in that he was a senior when comparing him to freshman like Brown.

Why?  Guys get injured all the time.  He didn't have the yips in that half season.

I am just glad Josh Jackson snubbed Danny, when Danny flew to California for a workout  and Josh was a no show....

I think they were doing due diligence and were planning of Tatum, but I was glad too because I wanted Tatum.  Dumb move by Jackson which I am grateful for.
