Folks seem to be sleeping on the Clippers. Everyone talks about the other LA team, but I could easily see 1 or even 2 of KD/Kemba/Kawhi/Klay/Butler heading there and/or possibly an AD trade + 1 max-signing.

I would honestly love to see that to spite the Lakers as well

IMO they can make a competetive trade for Davis now, and sign a max free agent, and use Gallinari's expiring to net another max free agent.

All this because of a post/comment on a Lakers blog? Come on guys. Everything is media hype. Players including Lebron haven't said a word yet fans are assuming all kinds of stuff. Same thing with KD and the Knicks. Don't get too sucked in by the media drama.

This is pure gold from silver screw and roll :
“....
i don’t want any thing to do with Clutch sports, i don’t want AD, i don’t want Lebron, i don’t even want KCP on his BS contracts… we have become the LA Clutch Sports instead of the LA Lakers…i just want that whole clutch sports movement gone out of LA, i don’t even care what we get in return. probably ain’t much because it would get super nasty and like somebody above already mentioned he would threat with retirement…i don’t know what you do…but i do know it has been the worst year ever…even the wasted years before this one was more fun to watch, despite the losses at least we saw some young players blossom, right now we just look lost, pathetic, frustrated and it’s almost like nobody wants to even ball anymore with all this drama...”

Hmm Durant was onto something two months ago

Yeah KD was spot on. It’s also why I find it hilarious there’s even suggestions that Kyrie or KD will join LAL. Kyrie himself hates feeling like a pawn and going back on a Lebron team will make him feel the same way.

Even tonight, Lebron didn’t even sit with his team apparently. He sat like 4 seats away from a player. And his postgame comments didn’t even sound like he was defending his young teammates and vouching for them.

The media loves LBJ and they are helping him. Unfortunately for the rest of the Lakers, they will suffer. Even some LAL fans are seeing this now.

Lakers fans would call me delusional for saying it, but let’s face it. Lebron controls that team now. Not Magic, not the others in the FA.

you are correct far as im concerned .  He needed a place with WILLiNG victums ....a place he could move in and set up shop.  AS an added bonus LA is where all the money and FA want to live .  So ....basically Magic took the bait and let the FOX in the hen house .  Use the Lakers team to make him as much money as possible before he is in a wheel chair .  If he succeeds , he may want to run the Lakers after he retires . Although i bet he reallynwants to own Cavs , that is his utlimate pay back to that owner .    Its ALWAYS about LEBRON ....nobody should everbthink different

Sixers were up 52-36, and then Nuggets go on a quick 20-4 run to tie it at halftime  :o

Without 40% of their starting unit, who are both probably their two best defensive starters.

Still ain’t scared of Philly

Have to admit, the rest of this season is going to be extremely awkward between AD and the Pelicans organization.

Yeah, they keep showing the Pelicans owner and Dell Demps while the crowd is mixed between boos and cheer everytime AD touches the ball.

This is obvious, but like three teams have been very much affected the rest of this season due to the inexplicable Rose Rule. If the Cs had just been allowed to trade for AD THIS season, the Cs, Pels, and Lakers would have been able to move on with their lives. Now NOP is 'stuck' with AD and the Cs/Lakers have a whole bunch of players who know they are not wanted. It's just weird.

Yep. And I LOVE Jeff Van Gundy tearing the league about this.

Quote
Jeff Van Gundy believes the Pelicans should take a stand for themselves & other small-market teams by accepting the reported $100K per game fine if a healthy Anthony Davis is seated. Gundy: “The NBA is trying to bully her [Gayle Benson] & threaten her with unduly harsh fines.”

Listen. The league wants Anthony Davis in LA. “They don’t mind tampering.” - Jeff Van Gundy speaking truth on the ESPN broadcast

I may not like Kelly Oubre for his scuffles with Kelly Olynyk back in the days, but I love watching Draymond Green get ejected because Oubre near-headbutted him and Green was crying over it to the ref and T'ed him up.

Hate that piece of garbage Green. Tackle people like a football player and kick people's nuts but whines every time.

Kings down 9 to Miami, then go on a 17-2 run to end the game.  Of course they do.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Why don't they just play AD for 1 minute and sit his ass the rest of the game. Problem solved.

Apparently league rules say he has to play at least 25 MPG, otherwise they get fined if he plays less unless he gets injured.

They did that yesterday playing him exactly 25 minutes lol.
