Not sure if this came through elsewhere, but Celtics officially sent $450K to the Thunder in the Nader deal.

I'm a UCONN graduate and I actually met him a couple of times since we had a mutual friend and I also watched him play a ton. He's a really nice guy and he went through his fair share of ups and downs at UCONN but when he was on he could really pile up the baskets. Never thought of him as an NBA player but he played phenomenal in the G-League for Orlando and when they called him up to the NBA he had a couple of really good games for them. I understand that it is a move to get under the salary cap but when he's hot he can score lots of buckets so I'm bummed we couldn't give him a shot to be a spark off the bench especially since we could probably offer him next to nothing and he'd take it but wherever he ends up I hope he gets the chance to play.Would love to see him land with Charlotte since he is from North Carolina and he could play with fellow UCONN players Kemba Walker and Jeremy Lamb.I guess it would technically be possible for the Celtics to give him a shot at earning a 2-way spot or a place in Maine in training camp, but I imagine they’ll work with him to give him a chance to find a better landing spot this summer, since there’s no room here.

Looks like our boy is still getting paid:https://twitter.com/JonMHamm/status/1025024166595051524Not a bad gig making $1.38 million to suck at basketball for a year.

How far over into the LT are the Celtics right now?

Quick note on Abdel Nader of Oklahoma City - his guarantee date was pushed back to 9/1/18 so the Thunder have to decide on his deal soon. Currently $450,000 of $1,378,242 guaranteed @BBallInsiders
