So when Adam Kaufman says "It’s...about...to get...ridiculous", does that have credibility?  I don't know anything about his insider status or his reporter reliability. 

The statement can't really be interpreted as anything other than he's predicting imminent fireworks.  This is not what someone says if the news is that Marcus Smart has signed an offer sheet or has agreed to stay with the C's.
