BOSTON, MA – The Boston Celtics, in partnership with the United States National Security Agency, have concluded a six month program intended to rid the internet of unwanted 'Kyrie trolls' (aka - individuals responsible for any negative comments pertaining to Celtics guard, Kyrie Irving).  In conjunction with the NSA, the Celtics organization has been pouring through thousands of pages of internet message board posts, and using IP data obtained from the NSA, has identified an undisclosed number of trolls who have subsequently been banned from entry to the TD Garden for all officially sanctioned Celtics events.

Additionally, the United States Central Intelligence Agency is beginning the process of apprehending said individuals.  Per team policy, the location where these individuals will be incarcerated cannot be disclosed at this time.  However, the length of incarceration shall be for no less than 120 years, per the agreed upon settlement between the Celtics and US government officials.

Rumor has it they're being locked in a cell in Guantanamo Bay with Trump and Hillary.

Parker is a two-year deal but Kemba is a FA after this season.

Charlotte recognizes that they have a ton of averagish players signed to long, high-cost contracts, so they’re just trying to get similar quality players at similar money who might fit better and sneak into the playoffs.  They can’t get anything of future value for their players outside of Kemba, aren’t quite bad enough to tank properly, and it would cost a ton to create future cap room, so might as well tinker around the edges and see if you can’t get the 7th or 8th seed in a weak conference.  It’s perfectly rational given their predicament.
