Is it too soon to say Celtics are Eastern conference favorites?

Celtics were one game from the finals last year without Kyrie Irving/Hayward....Now we are adding those two guys back and Lebron james is gone from the east.

Raptors are still the same choking dogs....and Philly seemingly cannot get anyone to sign with them. The east looks like it is the celtics for the taking next year.

I mean, Celtics are tied for the 2nd best odds to win the title next year, tied with LAL and behind Golden State. That said, I think LAL is still too high unless they assume Kawhi is going there already.

No. I honestly think the East will be a joke and a cakewalk now. I’m a humble guy but yeah that’s what it feels like with the talent this team has compared to everyone else now.

Even if they do get Kawhi, I still don’t see how we’re not the clear favorites given what happened in the playoffs and what we’re adding, let alone the growth by our young players, specifically Brown and Tatum.
