Now the Wast teams may start spending like crazy.

All roads to the Finals go through Boston now. If Cousins signs with Lakers, Ainge should put a deal together for AD because the Pelicans have no shot in the West. He's already u der contract.

Kyrie, Brown, Kings and Grizzlies picks

Pels aren't dealing Davis any time soon.  their success this year just whets their appetite for more.  they won't be blowing it up -- particularly when they have the one player that no one else in the league can match up with.

Don't want the pick at 1#. We don't get it. Sac pick at 2# would be nice. Can't see that pick falling out of the top 5.

If Sacramento have one of the 3 worst records in the league next year we still have an 86% chance to keep the pick. I wish it were 100%, but that's still pretty good.

We probably can as early as next summer though.

I mean, I don't think anyone expected Davis to be traded at all anytime next year anyways  :P

Either that or teams in the fringes will tank harder.

We can.  Kyrie just has to be part of the deal.

I thought somebody on here said they got rid of the Rose Rule, or amended it, in this CBA

We're probably 2 years from seeing AD even being a trade possibility, but to get him we'd probably have to part ways with Tatum.

IMO, Davis is right there with Lebron as the best player in the game, and being so much younger, he's undeniably the most valuable single player in the world right now. If we're ever getting a player like that, they're going to want our best commodity, which, in 2 years, will almost certainly be Tatum.

SAC is likely going to be awful and that pick will be a high one. Obviously there's the slim chance we win (i.e. lose) the lottery. One thing to keep in mind, a lot of teams will be tanking come next spring, but SAC will have no reason to. They're going to try to win.

In light of that, I expect the pick to be in the 4-8 range. Maybe it won't be a #3 pick like Jayson and Jaylen, but it'll be a great asset nonetheless.

Kyrie, Brown, Kings and Grizzlies picks

I'd rather have those 4 than AD.

by the time AD is available, he'll be demanding a trade to the Lakers, so let's just focus on our team and win the championship without him.

I expect the Mavs (Doncic and Jordan) and maybe the Suns (healthy Booker with Ayton and a signed Ariza), and the Grizzlies (healthy Conley) to leapfrog them in the West.

In the East there may be another bad team to the mix in the Cavs, but the positive viewpoint with more bad teams in the east Nets, Knicks (without Porzingas for a while), Hawks, Magic, Bulls, maybe Hornets it increases each of their win total as they have to play each other more.  I’d love to see the 76rs strikeout in FA with Embiid missing most of the season to be added to the bottom group.
