Interesting move. Gotta think neither team is done here. For the Clippers, they got a decent enough starting center for an oft-injured guard who needed 13 shots to get 15 points a night. And now there's talk of Deandre Jordan opting into his final year to facilitate a trade, possibly to Dallas. So that's a pretty decent trade to get a replacement for Jordan.
For Washington, I'm not surprised by this. Now it wouldn't surprise me if Wall or Beal, probably Beal, gets traded now too. They had to change up the core of that team. They've been together long enough now to see that they're just not gonna get over that hump, that hump being the East representative in the finals. Because they surely weren't a championship team.
