I want him to stay in Cleveland. I want to kick his ass next year.

Is anybody with me?

I want us to stop talking about him.

Who cares,  he is only going to LA if they can stack up a team for him aka PG going there.

When you've lived in Cleveland, who wants to be in Philadelphia?

I think that's right.  Lebron wants to use Cleveland as an out just in case his super team falls through.

I think it's Cleveland barring the Lakers doing some great moves. I just think Cleveland has a good chance to make a move and bring in someone that will give him a better chance to win than the Lakers will have. It doesn't sound like the Spurs have any interest in moving KL to the Lakers so a team of: Ball, Ingram, PG, Lebron and ____ puts them in the mix but not any better than Houston and GSW, maybe worse.

There's actually a growing belief that George could decide to stay in OKC (either with a 1+1 kind of contract, or a 4-5 year max). I still think he goes to the Lakers, but ultimately Leonard is the wild card.

But if PG13 does elect to stay, then I think Lebron stays put in CLE and maybe forces the Cavaliers to make a trade (like Sexton + something for Kemba, or something similar).

A possibility is, Lebron opts-in and plays another year at Cleveland, and the Spurs hold on to Kawhi or he gets traded to somewhere not named the Lakers, and then in summer of 2019, Leonard and Lebron both team up in LAL (Deng's contract comes off the books I believe). Or if they work a S&T of sorts for 1 of the stars, maybe Klay Thompson follows in FA as well? (I doubt it, but it's a possibility)

I think LAL would actually like that better than likely having to surrender Kuzma, Ingram AND another future asset to get Kawhi now.

But the moment LeBron goes to the Lakers, the Lakers become a playoff-bound team. Add Paul George and another star and they suddenly become a title contender.

Sucks because Boston worked hard building their team while the Lakers just suddenly attracted 2-3 superstars in one summer.  :(

Hayward to celtics via free agency in 2017.

So if Lebron opts-in on Friday, should we assume he's staying in CLE and likely NOT going to Lakers or Sixers? Possibly in a S&T to Houston?

If he opts-out then it's likely Lakers, Sixers or re-upping with Cleveland again on a 1+1 (or 2+ year deal).

I think he opts out

What exactly can Cleveland do to improve that roster? Nothing. Biggest asset is love and they need him.

I do too, but if I'm Cleveland I'm talking to San Antonio about how Kevin Love would be a star again in their system. We'll also send you PG of the future and take Aldridge's big contract.

Love, Sexton, Clarkson, 1st rounder
Leonard, Aldridge

LeBron to Kawhi: we can choose our team together again next summer.

It would be pretty funny if any part of Lebron's "decision" ;) ::) ;D hinges on Dwight Howard ;D. Well, until he signs with the Cavs and the Celtics are simply never able grab a single rebound ever again. Ugh.
