Well Danny doesn't determine the minutes in the 4th quarter! Weird question to ask the GM.
But yeah the Celtics should have fed Tatum more.
I would like to see Tatum's USAGE rate increase to 25% plus rather than the 20% he was averaging in the regular season. He's clearly one of our best offensive weapons and he should get more touches when we NEED to get a basket.
AND Tatum could have broken Jabar’s record!
yes
Danny saying .... we can't go to Tatum like he is "Lebron"
I don't know why he said this. But hopefully provides extra motivation for Tatum
Um, because it's true? Just like I just said, Tatum's not ready for that yet.
The dunk on Lebron and clutch 3 says otherwise
He didn't look phased by the pressure (unlike...)
The difficult part to digest is that he got 2 touches after the 3 with less than 6 min left
So I just listed to the part about tatum. And of course, Danny's response was absolutely money. People may not like it but it is what it is. That one dunk, or the fact that he wasn't phased aside, kid is not ready to control the entire game in that situation.
But you don't know. Nobody knows because they didn't see the river card
The way it ended = question marks, even if what you or Ainge are saying is the truth (he is not ready still)
IF Tatum got more plays called for him (design) and he didn't make the shots. I don't think many would be upset with him. His way out is what you and Ainge have said . He is not ready , not just yet
But if he comes through, team might be playing GSW instead of the Cavs
In the 4th quarter of game 7 (felt like)
Letting Smart or Rozier shoot even if open = 10 percent chance it goes in
Letting Tatum shoot even if a defender up in his face = 30-40 percent chance it goes in
Which one would you choose?
