thats been one of CBS glaring  faults .   When winning matters ,  noting riding the hot hand to seal the win.   Sometimes takes the best scorers out when they are on fire .

Dear CBS .....not college ...they are being paid to score ......you don't have to rest them every five minute .

notice Bron would have a triple cow if you took him out during the most critical scoring moments  or when the team can't score and they need him.  Thats one advantage he gives his team...he never comes out .

i think this is what Tatum is not able to do ...like Bron ....force his will by taking over or seeing that he gets more looks when everybody else is cold.    See Lebron ..ignore IT and pout because he can't control the ball.  So if Tatum got game ....for pete sake CBS let him ball.....there is no tommorrow

CBS ...has yet to learn WHEN , to let stars be stars .....stars win finals .

What a lot of people seem to be missing is that the coach does not decide who takes the shots. He can call the plays, although very often the point guard will do that, but the players have to execute them. Every play has multiple options depending on what the match ups are, how the defense reacts, and other factors. The players look to get a good shot, if a shot is there, they don't pass it up to force feed it to one guy, unless that guy happens to be Lebron. People also need to stop thinking a coach can tell players not to shoot. That would kill confidence. He can call plays designed to get the ball to Tatum, but he's not going to tell them that Tatum has to take the shot.

These guys demand honest answers and not ass-covering responses that most interviewers settle for. They didn't let Ainge get away with BS answers - which some of them were, as evidenced by his mumbling, stumbling follow-up responses.

Kyrie should have been there but Danny is afraid of him, Marcus shot his mouth off which is weird because that is one guy who cares and, finally, they should have told the team to feed Tatum - his shots at least had a better chance of going in. I thought Stevens was a genius at drawing up plays for clutch situations.

Stevens has to get better at telling guys what to do instead of always soothing their egos so that their fragile confidence and self-esteem doesn't get damaged.

I read another story from another network that questioned why Horford wasn't used to go to the basket in the 2nd half when he was successful doing so in the first half. Another valid point. Al didn't have many touches in the 2nd half.

The guy they should have interviewed was Stevens.

Can't blame Tatum for losing the game. Blame his supporting casts who didn't show up that game.

This term needs to go the way of the Dodo, imo. Like, at least 27 years ago.

Probably misuse of the term. I enjoy our boys, but man Smart, Brown and Rozier were cold. Morris being silly. It happens in basketball but it just happened to happen at the worst possible time- being cold, not hitting your shots.

Still upset in how the Celtics lost Game 7 to that Cavaliers team. History wasn't on our side after all  :'(
