If they can't prove it wasn't Colangelo or any of his relatives/cronies, how can Coiangelo stay?  No free agent is going to want to go there if they have other options unless it is a really big overpay.

It's hard to really refute the fact that when the The Ringer asked about the accounts (two of them), and then they only talked to Colangelo about the issue, within hours, the accounts went private (including the ones that was not asked).

That's a pretty good case. . .

It's hard to really refute the fact that when the The Ringer asked about the accounts (two of them), and then they only talked to Colangelo about the issue, within hours, the accounts went private (including the ones that was not asked).

Trashing the star player (among other 6er players), sharing facts regarding medicals, continually randomly trashing the former GM, general unprofessionalism. Do I need to continue.

Colangelo is lying when he says he doesn't know who it is. He probably already knows or has a very good guess. It's either him, or his dad or his wife.

Otherwise, a Hinkie-sympathizer in the organization went insanely out of their way to frame him.

There will be all kinds of grievances filed if he is fired without proof. It will drag out for years, muddying the upward trend of the "process."

To this point, he has denied it. Even though there is all kinds of smoke, it is all circumstantial.

The Sixers are in a bind with this situation, and it may ruin the last 5-7 years of "sacrifice."
