Lakers are reportedly keeping Kuzma out of their AD offer. I wonder if the Celtics are doing the same with Jaylen, and if Ainge includes him if the Lakers cave on Kuzma.

Don't think so. Think Tatum is the center piece of the Cs offer. My guess is picks are the Cs sweetner.

I wonder what LA can get for #4? I know Josh Jackson is available but He hasn't exactly wowed the world. I hope that doesn't excite new Orleans either

Yeah, I can't see who would be available for that #4 pick that the Pelicans would consider worthwhile.

I was about to take a nap and then of course Woj tweeted that, so naturally here I am keeping track of these AD rumors  :P

I'm curious to see what a potential 3-team trade looks like between NOP-LAL-?

Does anyone think a trade framework actually gets agreed upon by tonight? (Not officially official but just agreed to be done by or after Draft night in some form)

That 4 pick has about the same value as the 14 pick. Do not see anyone out there willing to move a big time player for it.

And would help the Lakers.  Chicago?   orlando?   Isaac?  Malik Monk?  Love?

So far, Boston has been undeterred in pursuing Davis -- despite his agent insisting AD would be a 2020 flight risk in free agency. For Boston, Davis could still be its best case to keep Kyrie Irving. Story soon on http://ESPN.com

Why?? This is such a catastrophic, potentially franchise-altering risk to take  :-\

Danny isn't interested in spending the rest of his career flipping and re-flipping assets while the Celts are a cut below the top teams.  He's spent years building to this point, he's not going to back off just because of one loud-mouth agent.
All he's accomplishing is boatracing the franchise to the lottery.

I personally would not make the AD deal with the circumstances being what they are.

I would like to keep the young guys and add to them. Still can bring in players via trades that are as steep.

This decision will shape this franchise for the good or bad for the next 5 years.

That's asking for too much to keep for a generational talent player.

[Turner/LA Times] And though the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics have inquired about Davis, neither team is willing to gut its roster for the multi-skilled forward because both believe it would leave them without a strong enough team by having sent out so much talent.

[Ganguli & Turner] The Lakers might have an opportunity to keep their No. 4 pick should they agree to part with Kuzma.

DO IT, Danny..........

With KD's unfortunate injury and Kawhi's (probable) departure from TOR (even IF they win their first banner)......

The NBA Title Race just got considerably more open.....

Get AD here, pair him with Kyrie, get our wildcard (GH) back near Utah levels and GO FOR IT.....

Longer than 5 years, because Ainge and his staff will get axed if it backfires.

It's general manager malpractice, right out of the Billy King playbook on How to Overpay in a Trade.

If this was true, this deal would've been done by now.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Wow the Lakers get to keep the #4 pick and get Davis? Sounds like a steal for them
