At some time we all must judge with real facts... neither Brown nor rozier and tatum were supposed to be the leading scorers of this group.. they have played well beyond their years ... they will develop every year... and whoever has seen once Brown understands that his no Jeff green... he attacks and attacks and attacks... he is not hiding... Brown will become Leonard or George... soon

.....shooting threes.

The should spend the summer developing better judgment on when to shoot threes. Time and place for everything.

Free throws, that's another story (for Jaylen anyway). If he's going to go to the rim a lot he definitely needs to improve that part of his game.

Brown just needs to keep learning how to play. He's still very raw. But look how much improvement he made year 1 to year 2.

If he improves anywhere near that much between now and next playoffs, and Tatum takes as big a leap in year 2 as Brown did, we're going to have a beast team next spring.

They are fine from three

Need to spend time learning how to create offense when their shots weren’t falling

Both settled trying to find a groove by shooting threes

This, by a 1000%

It was a cold shooting night, but these kids have to learn how to make noise on the offense without relying on the three's.

I'm perfectly fine with both Rozier and Brown shooting where they're at (high 30s and low 40s from 3), but both could improve at getting to the rim (Rozier) and converting at the rim (Jaylen) significantly.

I was frustrated with Rozier's inability to take 6'9"-6'10" guys off the dribble last night and throughout the series. For as much as some were calling for a Kyrie trade in confidence of Rozier's improvement, it's hard to argue that Kyrie can get to the rim at will and convert at an absurdly solid rate when Rozier's primary scoring weapon is a streaky 3 point shot and fast break opportunities. It shows in his overall FG percentage and his inability to consistently score 20+ nightly. Rozier is a replacement starter and good backup PG at this stage in his career and I think this series put that on display.

As for Brown, he's gotten so much better it's hard to pick on him, but he needs to stop bringing the ball down to his ankles every time he gathers to go up for a shot at the rim. He gets stripped, blocked, and tied up as much as anyone and he shouldn't be having that issue with his incredible athleticism vertically and from a quickness perspective. He has a bright future ahead of him and is already a solid player, but that kind of inconsistent finishing is what made Jeff Green so disposable throughout his career.

I think we're all in agreement here... both guys needs to learn how to get to the rim (and to the line) when their shot isn't falling.

I'd rather they spend all summer working on their handles and finishing at the rim than working on their 3's. What separates the great players from the not great players is that the Lebrons, Stephs, Hardens of the world will get something going in the paint when they're dead cold.

Of course better 3p% wouldn't hurt either.

Didnt we get into the bonus with like 7-8 minutes left? Sure would've been nice if they took it to the rim instead of taking contested 3s. I'd say work on that in the offseason
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

To see them chucking more 3's? NO. Last night, I've seen enough of them bricking 3's with so much time on the clock. They couldn't just move the ball around, ugh.

They need to spend their summer expanding their game. Attack the rim more. BROWN, especially making free-throws. Rozier may not even be a Celtics next year.

I hope brown works on his ball handling. He’s athletic and aggressive but he bobbles the ball so many times in a game. He can’t seem to hang on to his handle when driving to the rim. He’s usually more athletic than his matchup but he frequently gets stuffed regardless. I wish CBS used him in more post ups.

Seeing Korver block him like 10x in the series really made me upset.

Haven't you heard Kyle Korver is way better than Carmelo Anthony  ;D

Same here. Kyle freaking Korver. Brown should be abusing him on the post but instead, he gets stopped quite a bit. You’d think KK is some defensive stalwart when he covers Brown.

Whatever the hell Brown is doing finishing at the rim needs work. How many times did he jump up and get blocked or stripped or caught in the air not having a clue what to do trying to lay it in.   It looked amateur.

Hamstring injury.  He clearly wasn’t as explosive as he has been pre injury.

Why does everyone keep forgetting he has a hamstring injury.  You really think it healed? He has not looked the same athletically since.
