no wonder NBA officiating sucks - listening to Steve Javie on ESPN he basically makes up a lot of crap to justify how things were called. 

Yeah, and you could tell the announcers were not buying it but didn't want to press to hard.

The result shouldn't have anything to do with how the act itself is judged. That's poor logic. That basically the NBA admitting they pander to people's emotions and perceptions, instead of simply judging the act on its merits.

That was crazy. I am glad they kind-of called him out on what he said - it made no sense. The officials saw how Horford landed and that played into the decision - what?! The intent should make a much bigger difference.
