I love Mo Wagner too. He's like an athletic, aggressive KO. His defense needs  work but he seems very active for a 7 footer.

What I don't get is if he has a promise wouldn't you still workout now that you have a safety net? I mean maybe he comes out and wows everyone peaking the interest of a lottery team.

Unless it's lottery level promise this just seems like a bad business decision.

Since we literally only have HS to work off of, the picture is fuzzy. Work ethic, who knows. Skill level, pretty raw.

But even in the worthless dregs of HS basketball, his in game motor was off the charts. It's almost like he understood that he could outwork others to get the rebound or a loose ball. That's rare for a basketball player who has the physical gifts he does. 7'1 and can run like a deer, yet felt a need to hustle more than players 4 inches shorter than him.

If this translates to the NBA, I would love him. Seeing guys who hard after rebounds (Baynes and Theis) has been awesome. Having a 7'1" guy with a long wingspan doing it would be even more awesome

ESPN Mock drops him to early 2nd round now. Man I’d love to take a chance on him with our first round pick.

Still think Lakers or someone like the Bucks will pounce on him.
