Could care less if he gets a lot or a little praise, I just want a championship

Chief's entitled to his opinion, and the things he says are pretty reasonable.

I'm kinda curious who they think could lead this team this far in the playoffs

Gotta disagree with Chief here. Very strongly.

Brad doesn't get enough praise

I tend to agree with the Chief.  Players are like 90% of the equation.  That last ten percent is certainly important but doesn’t make as big of a difference as people think.

Stevens doesn't get a single vote from other coaches for coach of the year but somehow receives too much praise..how does that work?

Hasn't Parish been a bit sour on the Cs for a bit now because he hasn't had a coaching position he's desired?

The last second plays (for the win) vs Bucks and 76ers ....

IDEA of CBS and execution by the players

I gave this a little more thought- I think what parish is trying to say is that Stevens hasn’t won any rings yet, therefore it’s all a little early. If you think of it from that point of view it makes sense. I do think Stevens is the best coach, however to praise someone i think  parish believes they need to win first  otherwise it’s all promise and premature

Most of the praise Stevens gets centres around getting the team to achieve above commentators expectations by having players play at or close to their highest level. Also for his assessment of his opposition and putting together strategies that will be effective against them.

Stevens has done all of that. Some commentators have made premature comments about where he ranks but overall I think most praise is in the right context. I will agree that sometimes the achievements of players get overlooked by commentators like Nick Young and Barkley who seem to have an anti Celtics bias and like to lessen the teams achievements by emphasising the Stevens effect.

I don't think Rozier, Brown and Tatum will develop this quick if it wasn't for Steven's coaching.

I think Parish is being very unfair:
Quote
"I think he's getting a little too much praise, but I like what he's doing," said Parish, a three-time NBA champion as the Celtics center in the '80s. "They're giving him all the love like he's won three or four championships. Come on now, win something first."
So you shouldn't be getting any praise if you haven't won a championship? Nonsense. Further, which coach is actually capable of winning a championship with this current team (with Kyrie and Hayward injured ofc)?
Jack of all trades, master of none.
