I'm so done with the NBA officials. Embiid cries and they nearly foul everyone out in game 4. Now officials are saying the last play on Embiid should have been a foul. That's all subjective ,and I saw no foul. They also say Marcus Smart traveled, well how about Ben Simmons walking all over the place. For that matter why don't they mention the no call on Saric when he charged into Smart.  Since when should the refs be playing to fan bases.  Why is they only mention those moments that suits the narrative. The refs in my opinion where clearly trying to push this series along further.

Why are they playing to the crying baby Sixers. Boston was the better team.

What about all the missed foul calls on almost all of Tatum's drives to the basket?

Saying that Smart traveled on the catch of the full court pass is BS. They should be ashamed of themselves for that.

Yeah, I honestly think it's ridiculous.

I know folks will argue that it's good the league releases this so they take accountability, but come on... WHO CARES??!! Teams are losing freakin' playoff games because of some extremely dumb calls on the court. But hey, look at us, taking accountability and releasing a report well after the game saying our refs cost blatantly cost you the game at the end!  ::)

Yesterday, supposedly the Sixers got "screwed" by some calls. The Celtics got screwed by that blatant no-call in Game 4 of the Bucks series. Happens way too often it seems.

It seems like their trying to cover their asses because of the unashamed bias in game 4. It is quit obvious by the stats and the ref choice that they did all they could to push this series and now the NBA is trying to cover itself.

Almost as bad as the NFL. Money ruins sports. But I still love my Celtics. GO green!!!

They said there are two incorrect non-calls within a couple seconds: Marcus should have been called for a defensive foul, and Saric should have been called for an offensive foul immediately thereafter.

NBA officiating is a sad joke.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

I dont get why they do it either , If the admitted bad calls in Pacers/cavs had been right Cavs wouldnt still be playing . It just makes the Lebron fix seem worse. FWIW  I thought in real time that Smart did travel, not sure it couldve mattered but against Cavs that might get called

Refs miss calls by accident or purposely all the time. It's blatantly apparent the NBA doesn't want them making every single call. Otherwise, they'd be no flow to the game and would turn many fans off.

Why the hypocrisy about admitting blown calls? The NBA should simply admit the TRUTH that calling games is purposely and naturally imprecise.

Missed or bad calls are part of the game. It's one thing high school, college and pro coaches preach to their players ...."don't let the refs get to you....just play the game!!!"

Most NBA players have focused minds and ignore the arbitrary nature of reffing. Why the refs are basically apologizing is ludicrous. It very hard to be a good ref and impossible to get every call right.

They cant get every call and unless it should have been an ejection early in the game there is time to make up a basket . I see no excuse for messing calls up that are reviewable, esp if they dont even review it

People cry about transparency and then when they get it they don’t like it?  I don’t see an issue with the two minute report one way or the other.  In the end calls tend to balance out so whatever.

As far as the Embiid play, yeah, that was a pretty blatant foul on Baynes.  No question about it.  But who cares.  We win, they lost.

I think people that complain about refs all the time are conflicted by these reports.  Those that understand that the refs are a part of the game, and understand you just need to play through things and control what you can control, don’t mind it.

TP+.  People would p--- and moan no matter what the refs do.  People have been talking about how awful the officiating is for years. I can't comprehend it.  If you truly think the refs are terrible, the game is rigged, etc, why do you watch?  Why do you watch a product that you think is fixed?  It makes no sense to me.
