This strategy is so wrong on so many levels.
1. If you triple Lebron - two people will be open. Lebron is too good a passer not to punish you if you try this.
2. If you triple Lebron, how are you going to blanket cover Korver and Love?
3. Those guys are the least of our worries.
Stevens is going to come up with a great gameplan. If we just make Lebron work hard for every point he gets, hopefully he'll be too tired to do as much as he usually does. Wear him down with numbers, rotate guys on to him to spread out the fouls. Fortunately we have Morris, Tatum, Brown, and Horford that we can rotate on James.
Baynes can keep Love or Thompson in check. Smart will be an ex-factor on defense.
I believe it will be a tough series but we have enough to hang with Cleveland. If we lose it will be in 6 or 7 games. But we just might pull an upset. They key is to hold serve at home. Win those first 2 home games and we have a real shot at pulling this off even if they win both of the first 2 games in Cleveland.
Triple-team LeBron.
Make sure Kyle Korver doesn't get the ball or he'll destroy you.
Make sure Kevin Love doesn't get the ball or he'll rekt you.
Expect career nights from one of Jordan Clarkson/Rodney Hood/Larry Nance Jr./George Hill/Jeff Green.
