Really stinks.  I've enjoyed watching Theis.  He was a pleasant surprise.

Monroe signing even more important now.

Oh no, just read that.

Theis wasn't just a nice surprise, he'd become arguably our 2nd most important big. Effective in his role.

In spite of the nice record and performance this team has just been snakebit with the injuries. Hope it stops here.

terrible news, does this solidify us having the worst luck with injuries across the NBA this season?

Good thing we have Monroe. Looks like resigning Monroe became more of a priority

Awful...awful....awful news.

I really grew an attachment to this kid this season.  Love the way he plays the game.

This sucks.

terrible news...this year is officially a disaster.

Monroe is beginning to fit into the offense but as a defender  ::)

What a sucker punch. This season's going down the toilet all of a sudden. I'm SO SICK of all the injuries to this team. I don't ever wish injuries on anyone, but it just boggles my mind how teams like GS and CLE almost never have to adjust to injuries to their major players, but Boston gets hit year after year after year. Going back to KG's knee in '09, the Celtics just can't escape this crap.

If we finish the season 7-8, we will win 53 games and clinch the 2 seed. That's a pretty amazing "disaster" if you ask me.

Theis to me is the prototypical modern back-up big man.  Versatile defender, hustles like mad, can hit a spot up three, decent passer and finisher.

Baynes is clearly more important.

Yeah, I'm not bailing on the season just because Theis got hurt.  By no means.

If Kyrie is also limited by his lingering knee issue and Jaylen is never really right for the rest of the way because of his concussion and so on ... well, then that might feel like things fell apart.

The fact that the team has given us lots of good basketball to watch after the way the season started is a miracle as far as I'm concerned.

I would really like to get to see them make a playoff run.  But maybe that's just not in the cards this year.

This sucks. It really really sucks.

I love the way Theis plays the game. He was such a nice surprise to me.

I guess we're gonna need Monroe now, more than ever. Although I don't think his defense is fixable. He's just awful on that end of the floor. Oh, well...

Ugh, this season is a wrap.

I don't know of anyone walking the street or anymore buyouts. I doubt they take any chances on Bosh.

We just aren't going to make it with Horford, Baynes and Monroe.
