Kyrie knee issue update: Could be out the whole week

I'm not trying to start trouble but has anyone noticed how well the ball moves when Kyrie is out.

I think the teams plays well in 2-3 game stretches but ultimately we need Kyrie.

Sure. The ball also moved better when it was out of Jordan's hands. I'd rather have it in exactly Kyrie's hands at all times.

Yeah, he's one of the many ball hogs in the league. Other ball dominant players: Lebron, Westbrook, Harden, Derozan, Lillard, Ben Simmons, Kemba.... Basically, the guys you want on your team.,

Harden holds the ball for an average of 9 seconds, while Kyrie has it for 6 seconds.

Harden also might be the greatest ISO player in the last 20 years.

 I like Harden, but better than Kobe, LeBron, Wade, not sure about that.

Those guys are all better players, but strictly talking isolation scoring? I think I'm taking Harden.

I love that he leads the league in FTA and 3PTA.

He also leads the league in ISO scoring. He scores more points from ISO than any other team in the NBA and does it in the 98th percentile of efficiency. He is a remarkable ISO player. His combination of strength, handle, savvy(the free throws), and a lethal jumper is pretty much unstoppable in isolation.

I dunno about that, its a different era, too hard to judge with all these 3 pointers and no handcheck. Harden is so hard to guard because of foul trouble, and I believe different players had already noticed how he is officiated differently.

Free hthrows are a big part of his game, but they are part of basketball too.

Plus even if you remove fts altogether he still leads the NBA in scoring.

FTs are a big part of the game, however when its to that degree and the manner he gets it, it puts doubts rather than the opposite. Plus do not ignore the fact that if he does not get that absurd amount of calls, players will have an easier time defending him. If you are going to ask me who do I fear, Harden, Lebron, Kobe, Curry, Westbrook when they have the ball in their hands, last I'd pick would be Harden. Heck Smart just shut him down twice this season, and I believe Brown would have held Harden in check if he didn't get whistled for those 2 bogus fouls that put him in foul trouble.

The team has played ok when he has been out. Yes, the dynamics of the team change when he's off the floor. The team struggles sometimes when Irving isn't shooting well, but, he's supposed to shoot a lot.

The Rozier starts were exciting but, Rozier is the back up for a reason. Smart, obviously runs an entirely different floor when PG. Larkin did a good job against the hapless Bulls. Of the three? Stevens gives Larkin the start. Larkin is kind of sore too.

Wondering if they bring up a G leaguer to sit at the end.

Anyways, without Irving, it becomes the "Smart/Rozier show co starring Larkin" and if they play/hustle/grit like they always do? Could steal a game or two against good opponents.
