I am posting this with the remembrance of the last year.
AB was starting, shooting great, defending and Terry was a sophomore guard that showed a little something in the Atlanta series year prior.

A year has passed since:
AB switched 2 teams since then, an injury crept up to him while T-Roz shoots better and has logged more minutes this year than Smart so far.

Last year I'd get banned for asking this question, but now it's not crazy at all to ask it.
Regardless of the vote result, it always amazes me what a difference a year makes when it comes to leagues new trends, players values, their improvement or decline (PG-Dipo trade is another great example). It is constantly shifting. Like stocks, their value stagnates, rises and depreciates volatile.

I have always liked Rozier's game and it has been great seeing him make strides in his game each season; however, with this particular roster and assuming we keep Smart, I would still choose AB over the next 18 months. He is a better knock-down shooter, has more of a veteran presence, and should provide more discipline on the defensive side of the ball. Terry's ball-handling, ability to create his own shot, and rebounding are certainly nice, but aren't as necessary with Kyrie, Hayward, and Horford around.

The fact that this question is even being asked probably says a lot about the chances we have of keeping Terry after next season. This makes me wonder if DA really will try to sell 'high' on him this off-season. I guess it all comes down to what we do with Smart.

I think there is more to the question, would I rather have Bradley on his current contract or have to pay Bradley 20 mil next year to retain him.

Apples to apples, current salaries, current age, current experience i'd take Bradley 10 times out of 10, and that is factoring his injury concerns history. AB was a special player, no nonsense kind of guy and a great piece in Stevens system.

Rozier's rookie contract vs. paying Bradley, i'd take Rozier 10 times out of 10.

I like what Rozier has shown but I still feel like he tends to play hero ball a bit too much, maybe more so then anyone else on the team (kyrie included). Our ball movement is better without him on the court but obviously he adds that scoring spark we need off the bench.

Long winded answer, Bradley is my guy.

I think the better question is Bradley or Smart.. and to me that is harder since they are similar type players.

People don't get banned for asking stupid (or perceived as stupid) questions.  So let's clear up that misconception.

To answer the question, Rozier.  Will give you more bang for the buck while you have him on a team friendly deal.  That's value.

Rozier because of the money, his dramatic improvement suggests a higher ceiling and his speed on the 2nd unit.  I love the bounce to his step.  He's a fast break machine.

I have to believe the OP meant 'all things being equal' and is leaving money out of the equation. Nobody is going to go with Bradley at $20M next year over Rozier at $3M. Since this is only for 18 months, we don't need to think about contracts or age beyond that time frame anyway.

You definitely shouldn't get banned for asking this. I would rather have Bradley if money was equal, but Bradley does seem to be breaking down.

I would much rather have Terry, who can at least get to the rim, over Bradley, especially with $$ as a consideration (and it has to be a consideration).

I'd rather have Smart than either of them.

If you think AB is gettin $20 mil this summer then you haven't been following him this season. I'd be surprised if  he got more than $12mil

I honestly don't see a market for him above the MLE.  There just aren't going to be many teams that make sense for Bradley that will have cap space.  The only one might be the Sixers, but if they strike out with a major free agent, I think they just do big 1 year contracts (like they did with Redick and Johnson) and try again in 2019.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Oh, I was just exaggerating. That was the # thrown out before the year began and he is surely to be paid more than the $3M Rozier will get paid next season. I just wanted to note that Andro probably was referencing 'all things being equal' in relation to his poll.

In relation to polls overall, I usually have something to say anyway  ;D Like, I hate when there is an 'about equal' or 'not sure' option (people just need to make a decision!) and things like contract status would surely sway a poll like this.

If you got banned for asking supposedly stupid questions, there are certain members that would be on a lifetime ban plus 100 days. I actually think this is a good question. The rest of this year, Rozier, but next year with Hayward back and wanting to max out our ability to win it all, I would want AB.

In theory, it makes sense. Though, I am wondering if AB is durable enough. It will probably be two seasons in a row that he is at 55 games played. Meh. Smaller guards don't last that long in general. I feel like Celtics maximized and replaced both IT and AB after their best year. Just in time, so to speak. And T-Roz still has his best ball ahead of him.

I have been a great fan of AB and yet I have surprised myself and voted Rozier without too much thought. AB has reached his ceiling, he has injury issues and his shooting, despite improvement most seasons, is still a little too inconsistent. TR has been a revelation at times this season and he will probably be a starter on another team not too far into the future. I think he will continue to improve for the next season or two.

I would have loved to see AB and Kyrie playing together but you can't have everything.

AB is the one ex Celtic who I still follow. I hope he can make the Clippers his home for some time to come and he finds some success.
