No point in Hayward coming back if he’ll just turn to stone once he joins this crew of fossils

This roster needs a TON of work for Boston to be relevant next season. This year is a lost year. They aren't beating anyone in the playoffs.

Be prepared to defend this take when we win our first playoff series.

Hate to say this but I agree.  I think Horford has been awful defensively recently, and no one else is giving them a boost.

Teams are just running them off the floor.

Can’t say it’s tired legs. Can’t say it’s playing on the road. Can’t say it’s a fluke. Sadly you’re right about one thing: we suck right now.

Danny Ainge not making a move to get legit outside shooting off the bench is just a huge miscalculation
lets be honest, shooting doesn’t help when our defense goes from keeping teams under 80 to letting opponents score over 120. Our defense is atrocious

It’s really been on the defensive end that this team has deteriorated. Give up 130 points two games in a row and getting killed on basic offensive plays like pick and roll.  We’ve given up so many points to screeners rolling to the basket over the past few weeks. I don’t know if it’s tiredness, lack of communication, or what.

It's uncanny how for years this team hasn't defended the pick and roll well. It's not that hard slide in front of the roller and plant your feet. It ridiculous to retreat/ice it opens up the lob play. Howard, Jordan, Drummond, Thompson you just name the big that isn't afraid to roll and they have feasted on us.

I agree. This team just does not play connected on either end of the floor

I really wish Kyrie and Al didn't have to make that flight West and do the All star thing. They need a break and need practice.

Brad sounded very despondent in his post game interview, unsurprisingly

I wanted Monroe to be a solid addition at center in the worst way. But the truth is, he's terribly landlocked, the guy just can't get off the floor. He's slow, and he can't defend for Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline..

This team looks very tired, especially the young kids. Tatum must be wondering does this ever end. The schedule has really been unfair to the Celtics this year. Screw playing games in Europe.

After Hayward got hurt... this is the team I felt we'd see for the remainder of the season.
