What a shame. Been a horrible year for injuries to stars...

Embiid played his first B2B a few days ago.  Just glad he didn't get drafted by Lebron.

Definitely not a good year for injuries to stars. Not sure if its any more or less than other years but it sure seems it.

Sucks, really unfortunate.  Seems like this has been a brutal year for injuries.

That really sucks.  Such a fun player to watch.  I hope he’s able to make a full recovery.

Yeah it's easy to forget about past years but this many young stars in particular seems pretty extreme.

Yikes. Too bad for Kristaps.

And too bad for us, too. That's yet another team that will probably end up below LA in the tankathon race.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Conley is probably the only one of those 7 that isn’t a really strong all-star candidate, [dang].

Knicks/Cavs trade idea:

Kanter
Baker
O'Quinn
McDermott

For

Thompson
JR Smith
BKN #1

Knicks - Gather some of the worst contracts in the league for 2.5 seasons but add extra lottery pick out of the deal. Might as well, in cap hell for that time anyway.

Cavs - Get better in the short term and all the flexibility in the world afterwards. Only Korver, Crowder and Love contracts on the books for next season and all could be cleared out and moved if need be. Allow Lebron to recruit his friends, and if he walks, rent cap space out for draft picks. It's a solid gamble that the 2018 #7 overall draft pick should NOT stop you from doing.
