Some guys are too small for basketball,
Some are just too big for it.

Smits, Yao, Sabas, Samson...now KP

All of these guys were extremely skilled, not relying on brute force and contact like say Shaq or and still, injuries sapped their careers.

These types of injuries just make me appreciate Kareem's career even more. At that height, his longevity, production and age and era is insane.

I hope Kristaps bounces back and has a long career.
Markkanen, one of my favorite new players, he is Dirks height, he will have a long career.

This absolutely sucks to see happen.  Too many injuries across all sports this season.  I hope this ends up being nothing more than a fluke year in that regard.
