All of my Lakers fan constantly boast about him like he's some God... To me, he's an above average scorer that learned how to use his length and speed to his advantage while having advanced post moves and nice shooting stroke.

What is his ceiling? I see starter, and maybe the occasional Allstar.

Maybe I'm not as high on him like everyone else, but I'm tired of ESPN and people just incessantly talking about his future. Some Lakers on Reddit even compare him to Tatum, which I completely disagree with.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Kuzma is an incredibly confident young man which has made his transition into the NBA seamless. I wouldn't go as far to call him a future All-Star, but he does have a bright future. I would personally say he is already approaching his ceiling (age 22 to Tatum who is 19), but that is almost impossible to tell as a rookie.

Tatum is clearly the superior prospect (as is Brown), but I can see why Lakers fans would be excited. They really nailed it on a late 1st.

To me, his ceiling is All-Star, but not superstar and not someone who will be an all-star every single season like say, Kyrie or Lebron or Greek Freak, etc. etc.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Rashard Lewis with better wing skills and defense.

He has a bright future, since he came into the league pretty developed I don't expect too much more of a leap in growth. Experience will only make him better and I expect multiple all-star appearance assuming he stays healthy and the Lakers become more competitive.

I'd say, definite starter, possible fringe All-Star, but unlikely to ever be n actual star.  Possible third best player on a good team type.

Kevin Love
Kevin Love the MVP candidate? Or Cleveland Kevin Love?

I’d say he’ll be a fringe All-Star at best

Starter on a championship team, who makes a huge play or two in big games. Not an all-star though.

One helluva player IMO. Multi time All-Star. Great by the Lakers to nab him so low in the draft. Sometimes you just got to tip your hat to the competition, even if they are Lakers.

Wow... Well... I definitely don't see that. As for Kevin Love comparison... Completely different games, plus Love is a better passer, and averaged 9.2 RPG in his rookie season.

So the Lakers are going to trade him.
