He's a guy who could make a multiple All Star games.  He's not there yet though and that's not the easiest feat even for a really good player so that's not a given like many seem to be suggesting (not that I even care that much about All Star games to me, if you are in the discussion at least it shows your level of play).

Not that he isn't quite talented.  People get carried away with the first showing on some of these guys when what is really key is the next steps and the consistency.  Playing on a team that was good would also help.

He impressed me when we played the Lakers and he really took over the game for a stretch.

I haven't seen much of LAL this season so not much of Kuzma either.

He hasn't stood out much when I have seen LAL. A scoring role player who doesn't impact the game much outside of scoring. A subpar defender at both forward slots. A bad rebounder at PF and middle of the pack at SF. A plus scorer at PF but a so-so one at SF. Not A capable but unexceptional shooter. Good at using his speed at attacking slower PFs. Doesn't have the same advantages at SF. A middling passer.

The type of player who posts big numbers on bad teams and has reduced roles on good teams.

This is kind of how I feel. The good thing is Ball and Ingram should mitigate those weak side coverage that Kuzma just seems to ignore. My Laker friend keeps telling me he's gonna end up being better than Tatum, and I get really annoyed lol.
