IT threatens in the above video (around 1:35 minute mark) that there will be a time when he  exposes "what happened."

Wonder if this even partially explain the whole situation with Eddie and the staff being fired...

I have a very hard time believing that our doctors would have risked their entire career and reputation on getting IT to play an extra couple games.

Will always have respect for him, but he needs to get over it.

I realize people are asking him these questions, but he really needs to move on and focus on his new team that happens to be in the middle of a potential title run. This is all getting to be a bit much and he is starting to come off as whiny (reminds me of when Ray Allen was new to the heat and was talking about Celtics so much Riley had to ask him to be quiet). I appreciate all he did here but it is time to move on..

But he and his agent don't want to sue?

telling him what he wanted to hear partial.....partial denial of the severity on his part ....

Im scard for IT he has only so much court time to give at his old level of stardom., before he has to go under the knife or retire.

I have a feeling the Cavs are saving what IT has left in the tank for the Warriors ....playoffs .  I fear he may undo his healing trying to help Bron win another title .....then miss another year with surgery .

Love IT but he needs to let it go and move on. His focus should now be on Cleveland

  • Let's Go Celtics!
So then he and the NBPA should file a grievance. Otherwise, this is just continuing to look like sour grapes.

Yeah, I really liked IT when he was here, and want him to talk less about how "hurt" he is by the trade. He's making millions of dollars, and will continue to do so. Cry me a river.

The Kyrie trade was 100% the right move. He's younger and better.

Again, loved IT, but I think its possible that he's gone from being underrated to overrated. The guy hasn't played a game this year, and yet people are talking a lot about him.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

I think the C's acknowledged the medical staff screwed up when they let Lacerte's team go after being here forever.

that said, I have a really hard time believing a guy who's whole selling point is his "heart" and that he would've sat out the rest of the playoffs in favor of being healthy right now... for the reg. season... ::)

it's really looking like once you go Lebron you get chump all over you.

I love IT but didn’t he go see his own doctor and make the decision himself? I’m positive the C’s didn’t say “you’re fine kid, go out there and help us get blasted off the court by Cleveland!”

Maybe the original injury back in March against Minnesota is what he talking about?

Or maybe they kept coming up to him and asking how he felt? He kept saying he could play so they kept letting him? They should have sat him down and discussed the severity of it, and I’m hoping they did.

I do find it rather suspicious that Ed and Co. were let go during the summer after this mysterious injury (only one more perplexing was Garnett’s back in 2009).

I do have the feeling the Celtics didn’t exactly shut him down when they should have, but instead when he really couldn’t go anymore. And there is definitely some sour grapes happening, too.

No special love for IT. Thx for everything but that's it. He was part of our process like many others, but roster has to be improved constantly cause it's the banners that only mathers.

IT is blaming this all on people who no longer have jobs.  Doesn't that suggest that it was the other way around - that the training and medical staff coddled a player eager to show his worth (going into a contract year) in the playoffs?  I mean, no one besides IT knew how bad the injury was...it was his hip!

Did I miss something? How many banners did IT hang in Boston? I like IT but the guy is still butt hurt that he was traded. Get a grip...Dr. J, Kareem and many other great players have been traded.

If he would've stopped talking about backing up a brinks truck maybe he would still be in Boston. I would trade him everyday for Kyrie and not even blink. No one forced him to play.

I wouldn't put it past the Cavs to trade him at the deadline for a big man. He's not going to have the ball as much as he had in Boston. He should be thanking Ainge for resurrecting his career.

I know IT4 is still bitter but he was only answering questions Rachel was asking him. What is he supposed to say, "we're onto 2018"? Maybe, because he's already said similar things but now that he's this close to returning and BSPN asked and was granted the interview. He knew what questions were coming. I hope this closes the book somewhat. If he gets asked again about it he should just say "I've already addressed this issue, time to move on".

Hey you gotta feel for the guy,  the team and GM which he bled for lied to him about his injury to get him to play - subsequently costing him millions of dollars on his next contract - and then traded him away once it was clear to everyone his injury was worse than indicated by the team.
