Bad loss. Lost rebounding battle. Have up 118 points. 16 turnovers. Missed free throws.

Detroit came in with purpose and won.

Detroit played great. Tip your cap. They have some good road wins.

Yet they lost to the Lakers on the road.  After a big win on the road v. the GSW, but still.

one of the first games I can remember all year that we got outrebounded.

gotta play Baynes when we need a big body like tonight.  only got 12 minutes.  Al wasn't able to drag Drummond out from the paint enough to negate the mismatch.

Harris going nuts and nobody really putting in an effort to stop him didn't help either,  I know pistons played a good game, good win for them, but we didn't put in the effort tonight.

Rebounding and forcing turnovers. Detroit are going to beat a lot of teams this year..

Nah, we've proven that we can win while trying hard. Now we're trying to prove that we can win while dogging it. Pretty much same crap as last year.

It is like they played playoff  IT defense on Kyrie as well. He was abused tonight. Nights like tonight Hayward would have helped. Also makes me crave a bruising center that can play hard defense(Cousins without the tude). This Pistons team is gonna be a tough out in playoffs. Hope they play Sixers then Cavs. This was a good mirror check for us so we can continue to improve going forward.

Remind me why we stopped starting Baynes to start Morris exactly?

We're worse at rebounding the ball with that lineup.

We're worse defensively with that lineup.

We're worse offensively with that lineup.

Celtics are going to get teams A games after their hot start. Detroit came in and wanted this game more from the get go. They won all the 50/50 battles and played great defense the whole game especially on the perimeter. Celts didn't match their intensity to start the game it allowed Detroit to get hot and they never cooled off. Drummond was too much tonight I thought Baines would play more. Oh well it will be interesting to see how Brad plays Drummond the next game.

We need him in the playoffs to start against Cleveland

Be prepared to see more Celtics losses frequently after dropping one to Miami and one to Detroit.

This team misses Hayward bad.

Kyrie came back down to the round Earth after a stretch of fantastic play over the previous 5 games.  He had an abysmal 2nd half.  It happens.

I'm not worried about this loss, though the stretches of turnovers, bad transition defense, and lack of rebounding were not fun to watch.

You shouldn't need extra motivation against the second-best team in the division. I'm unsure why our team thought they could win this one without getting out of bed.

Kyrie lost us this game. Just terrible, terrible, terrible decision-making.
Kyrie did not play well. But to say he lost the game is a stretch at best. Offensive rebounds, misses free throws, 16 turnovers,  bad defense lost them the game.

Well let's just say it was mostly Kyrie's fault then. His decision-making was p----poor all night long. 6 TOs and countless bad shots really hurt us down the stretch.

Remember when we used to have AB to stick on superstar pg’s?
