Did anyone see this injury happen tonight? I watched the game and don't remember it happening. He will undergo tests tomorrow. Lets hope he is only out 1-2 weeks. The Celtics can afford to lose him for any extended period of time.

Well we're 10-2 and significantly better than a lot of teams in the east. If he needs to sit out for a  slightly longer period to get 100% healthy again, so be it.

With that said - this:

Fairly standard procedure to get the boot out.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was chris bosh?

Scal said in the post game that he saw him walking off to the locker room without any noticeable limp.  Scal says he can normally ‘tell’ when someones ankle is super hurt, and didn’t think Tatum’s was.  So there ya have it, seems like a medically relevant enough opinion to me.

I’m not sure if this was the injury ? It’s all I could find https://youtu.be/oRjK9uRIQn0

Let’s hope the boot might be an overly cautious step to not put weight on it and reduce pain or something

#NEBHInjuryReport Jayson Tatum left tonight’s game with a sore right ankle. He’s in a walking boot to be safe tonight, will have tests tomorrow.

Guessing he will have an MRI tomorrow

Charlotte will be difficult if we have neither Horford nor Tatum.

Hopefully they're just being extremely careful with him, as they should as he's so important to this season and the franchise's future.

We are bound to lose at some point..I hate excuses but not having Average Al and Tatum in your line up against a legit playoff team is a recipe for a loss indeed.

Defeated LA. Our Big 3 is banged up. Tatum is out. I can afford to snap the 10-game winning streak now, against Dwight Howard and his Hornets.

Get the rest you need Celtics. Played on a series of tough games the last 10 games.

Who is "Average Al"?

I know there's a guy on the roster named Al, but he's far from average.  More like totally friggen' awesome.

Tatum's injury didn't appear too serious, so I'm not terribly worried.  Maybe he misses a couple of games for precaution, but my guess is that will be about it.

I hope this is fake news. I heard he broke his talis bone in ankle and is done for year.

Can someone confirm this ASAP. I hope it's just a stupid silly sports internet rumor...lets dispel this quickly.
