everyone besides Kyrie (and Horford for the most part) has been bad on offense.  Hopefully it's one of those games where the lid comes off the rim in the 2nd.

much as i like kyrie on offense, that was way too much hero ball at the end.  :P

oh well, celtics shot like that had broken arms and are only down a few at half time.

lots of game left to win.  ;D

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Horford and Irving are carrying the offense. Everyone else has messed the bed.

Not a good 2nd quarter.  Horford and Kyrie are showing up on both sides of the ball.  The J's gotta get going for us to win this.

reggie miller is the worst

hated him as a player and hate him more as an announcer

Completely agree.

Hard to believe it possible to dislike him more, but he's so much worse as an announcer.

Really?  he is the only one doing anything.  He passes the ball off when he gets doubled or tripled and no one can help him out.  Not the person to blame.

He is so annoying.  Often saying seriously the opposite of reality in what is going on, plainly in the game or showing he doesn't know the players.  He was talking as if Baynes couldn't even hit an open shot int he paint.

Welp, not a bad place to be all things considered. If Brown can come back and shot better then 0-8 from the field we have a good shot at his game. Gonna need his scoring to supplement Kyrie. I do like that even when he's struggling he kept playing defense and pulled down six boards. Playing good defense so far, the Celtics have kept Giannis in check. Rozier needs to get his head in the game. Baynes has been good, Smart looks less dynamic out there, maybe still working through the ankle issue.

We're lucky to be basically tied going into half.

Someone besides for Kyrie has to put the ball in the hoop.

agree.....Somebody besides Irving gonna have to hit a few buckets.  Brown can't hit or finish tonight.  Someone mentioned , he is aiming his shot instead of natural release.  UGH ...

Half time we are outplaying the bucks but shooting absolute  :-\
If we keep effort up we win, if bucks shut down Irving we loose.  If brown hits a few shots we win.

Loving the effort

Yeah, but getting Morris back will help a lot, too, let alone if Gordy comes back late in the year or next year. Having another consistent vet scorer and a bigger defender to put on Giannis will certainly help.

The Celtics turn down too many open 2's between a seam, to search for wild contested 3's and contested dunks at the rim.

Yeah, the bucks are a really bad matchup for us.  They are long, fast and we don't really have anyone who can consistently stay with the greek freak.  You try to double Giannis and you get the other guys from the bucks hitting 3s.  They are utilizing the IT clev cavs defense right now on Kyrie.  Blitz doubling him, daring other guys to beat them.  Right now no one is stepping up.

This bucks team could be very scary by the point they get Parker back....It feels like the bucks are better than Wash / Toronto right now.

In 2-3 years after Lebron is gone will it be Bucks / Celtics battling it out to get to the finals?

game is yet another example of how this offense hits a brick wall when the team just chucks up 3's with little variation in the offense.
i hope Brad gives them a verbal spray at halftime and reminds them to move the ball more.
