Isnt Kyrie injury prone.............. That hip injury looms large for IT. Will he have to pass a physical?

Did I miss something? What deal did he do recently that gives off that impression?

He traded a decent rotational wing, a pick, and a B+ pointguard who just sustained a major hip injury for an A pointguard who is 3 years younger, entering the prime of his career, isn't a midget, and has an extra year of contract flexibility.

Take off the tunnel vision glasses and you can understand that contracts matter in the NBA. Doing this deal basically lets them keep Marcus Smart. Hayward/Tatum/Brown deserve minutes over Crowder. And the pick is an unknown. It could easily turn out to be #8 just as easily as #1. Nets got better and the rest of the competition got worse. Im not going to roast Danny for including it when he farted a possible extra lottery pick out of thin air by trading back 2 spots and selecting tatum. Who by all accounts has looked great.

or go home.

I'm on board

Danny has said numereous times he would would use the picks for stars when the right deal ocmes along for an upgrade.

in an equal perfect world IT and Irving are pretty equal in terms of stats ., with IT incredible value at present contract .......but two thing are very unclear

What kind of deal or contract could Danny get IT to sign for....he must have had his doubts about being ale to sign him to a friendly deal.....Im sure he had a better feel than iany of us on what deal IT was willing to settle for .....just like Bradley ......the cost was going to be too much

What type of value does IT have at the end of the season ......is the risk he is broken and of little or no trade value a good gamble.

Irving is a special talent .

Stevens will be the type of coach make Irving a better all around player .
