He won't though. Completely different players. Sr. was a better scorer and a true playmaker, basically as soon as he came into the league. He was already a multiple-time all-star at this stage of Jr.'s career, who still can't become an everyday starter.

I don't think KCP takes a 1 year contract so that would eliminate the Lakers.  Nets are going to get Porter or KCP most likely, not both though.

This guy is not that good folks.   He has a PER of 12.9,   shoots 40.5% from the field .  Shooots .35% from trey land and scores 13.8 ppg

I disagree with this assessment, KCP is a legit 2 way player.  He may be overhyped on this forum but he certainly does not suck.

The nets are a decade away from being a really good team. Right now they need to get players who can outplay their contracts and turn them into better assets. Signing KCP would fit that goal
