Mixed. It's not great, but it had to be done. The return is unspectacular, but acceptable.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Hate it. To me Bradley should have been a Celtic lifer, he is our 2 way captain. This trade hurts more than the high I got from the Hayward signing.

I hate losing AB but we were going to lose him anyways next year.  Mixed for me, glad we got Hayward.

Unfortunately you can't keep everyone in a salary cap league.

Loved AB but Hayward is a clear upgrade for us.

Marcus Morris is a reasonably good player who can play 4 for us at a very good salary just 5m per year for next 2 years.  He's a 14 ppg/5 rpg player who also averaged 35% from 3.  He will be a useful piece who we will plug in for now.

Mixed.

We gave up the better player in the deal but something had to give. I'm glad we got back someone that can play PF though. He's not great but should be efficient at the job.

Voted mixed, but I definitely understand why we made this deal.  Hard to lose AB, but he is going to be very expensive next year and this move solved our current cap problems.

Morris is going to be a good value for our team, whether off the bench or in the starting five.  I like the trade in the long run.

Below market contracts like Morris and Crowder are critical where you are going to have 3 max contracts, which will be the case next year with IT. Plus I feel Morris, if he plays like his brother, really fills a need for us. I love Avery, but I also love this trade.  Let's us keep the rest of our roster, bring Yabusele in, etc.  Still room to sign a decent big.

We can compete now, and are set up to compete for the next 10 years.

What's not to like?

mixed - knew the trade was coming somehow because of his pending FA next season, so figured he's gonna get traded one way or another, and has to be between IT/Bradley/Smart

but also emotionally attached to him, since we basically watched him grow when he was the baby of the Celtic when KG/PP was still here

All good points but it wasn't a basketball trade.  It was a money deal.  Was it a good deal considering our situation?  Probably but it hurts to see AB go.  He was a true Celtic like PP.  I am torn because we could win a championship with him and it wasn't a trade to improve the team.

Good.   What you want.   What you can get.   Big versatile wing.   Fills minutes at the 4.

Should be a good season.   Light em up.    8)
