You also seem to be missing Zizic, Yabu and Theis.
I don't think G League players are relevant to the main team's rotation.
Easily the most concerning thing about our roster is that one of the Euros is gonna have to prove himself worthy of 20 minutes a night or we are gonna be in trouble*.

*still probably 2nd in the east but less smooth sailing and more frustrating nights.

I don't care about the luxury tax and neither should any of us. If that is the main reason for this trade it's awful. I would like to believe it was for "basketball reasons" and to keep the "trade flexibility".

Not the luxury tax, but cap space.  We needed to clear cap space to sign Hayward.

I understand but Bradley is better than Crowder. We could have traded Crowder. If we decided on Bradley based on future luxury tax concerns I don't like the trade. But if it was for position versatility, trade flexibility etc I can live with it.

Sure, but you can't just decide for other teams who they should take from us.  Apparently, there were no offers for Crowder that would bring back a talent equal to Morris.  It takes two to tango, if only we could decide who we'd like to keep and who we would like to trade and then get others to comply with our wishes.  Remember, there was somewhat of a timeline involved here in order to have the money to sign Hayward, the C's did not have the rest of the summer to shop.  Frankly, it's somewhat shocking anyone would give up a rotation player for a one year rental of Bradley who is set to hit free agency next summer.

Well, that's the beauty of being just a fan, you have the right to ignore facts that get in the way of your preferences.  Ainge does not have that ability.

Luxury tax also has repercussions regarding your ability to sign players. You also pay for it more if you are in it for consecutive years. Gone are the days when you can easily keep a core for consecutive years just by using your bird rights and going over the cap. It is only worth it if you are legit contenders aka Cleveland and Golden State.

TP. That is the key point that I think a lot of people are missing here. We all talked about how we shouldn't give too much for a one-year rental of Paul George, and in fact he was traded for a poor return. Now, we expect teams to give more for a one year rental of Bradley? Would you give more for a Bradley rental if it was the other way around? Its great that we got a good, cost controlled player who fills a need for us and fits our system in Morris.

Avery's missed a lot of time,  we nor normally play decent when he's out.  Plus Smart and Rozier could both make similar leaps Bradley made with his shooting and scoring.  It wasn't like Avery came into the league being able to shoot or dribble.  Let's not forget progress

G-league, at best.  Yabu is probably playing overseas again.

I am amazed at now many proposed lineups/rosters have been posted in the forum that include Zizic as a rotation player or even the backup center.

The luxury tax sucks. All of us are fine paying it b/c none of us will have to pay for it. Handing your competitors (serious) money cannot be fun as an owner. If the Celtics are going to load up 3 years from now, it would make much more sense not to be a repeat luxury tax payer.

Danny wanted Hayward and was ok with Bradley moving on, esp if they resign IT and Smart. I'm ok with that too. I'm also ok with a Crowder + non-lottery 1st trade.

The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.
