Wow, I'll really miss AB. Nobody worked harder. The Pistons got one hell of a player...

What I most respect about Avery is he got better every year. He made himself into a good shooter, and a pretty good scorer in general. His on-ball defense was surely a joy to watch over the years.  He was a memorable, hard working, and fine Celtic.

Good luck AB.

yes, he is the last link to the big 3 who has shown how hard he works every year, improvements every year

playing through injury he truly busted his ass night in night out, and lots of memorable plays

-blocking DWade
-game winners vs CLE (twice!)
-steal on John Wall in game 2 of ECSF

and many more!

Yeah, I'm really going to miss Bradley, he was hands down my favorite player on the team.  Sad to see him go so that we can keep Smart and Crowder, two wildly inferior players.

Not pleased about this.

Thank you for that game-winning 3 against the Cavs. Once in the regular season and another in the playoffs.

You will greatly be missed. Give Lebron hell in the central division!

I've never been devestated since the Rondo trade. This one hurts but it is beneficial for both teams. I want him to win banner 18 with us before leaving but it was not meant to be.

On the bright side, Morris already looks much better than all of our bigs minus Horford last year.

Thank you Avery for working hard at your game every year and improving, for playing amazing defense and for playing injured for us.

Don't have much to add really. One of my favorite recent Celtics players. He's going to get a good payday and he deserves it.

7 years, 5000 points, and countless brilliant defensive plays with the team. If it was up to me he'd definitely get a jumbotron tribue.

Not even a question.  Before IT got here, he was becoming the face of the franchise, and deservedly so.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
Thank you Avery. You are now my favorite non Celtic player. I knew it would be you that would be gone for Heyward to come here. Your D is amazing and your work eithic to become a better at O is very Celtic like. Your block on WADE your shot to win the only playoff game for the east over the Cav was awesome. I hoped there was a way to keep you. If we paid tax on player your are the one I hoped it was for. I am hopeful our ownership will show the love your first game back. I hope you teach SVG how to handle oneself. I am hopeful you play so well next year you get a Max deal by leading the Pistons to the playoffs. I will see you Play again soon. It saddens me that Danny Is a not loyal. He is still hurt Red traded him. It is just a business now but I love my Celtics so I go on and root. God Bless you Avery you deserve nothing but the best.
