Considering I started the "Avery Bradley Appreciation" thread last year, it's obvious I'm going to miss this guy.

We couldn't afford him next year - no way, no how. So I knew he was going to go. Still, I was hoping to get one more year of the uber-professional Bradley. This is a guy I'd love to bring back at the end of his career to do a one day signing so he can retire a Celtic.

We'll miss you AB.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

Funny thing is, the play I'll always remember him for most, was this block on Gordon Hayward:

Like, who blocks a jump shot? And who blocks the jumper shot of a guy 6 inches taller? On a potential game winner?

Really sad to see Avery go. I really do with him the best of luck and that he make as much money as he possible.

But it had to happen.

I already miss him. What a sick defensive player. He also improved every single year. As everyone said, a true Celtic.

Thank you, Avery, indeed!

Loved the guy. Improved every year despite many injuries, and was always giving it his all on both ends.

Best of luck to him.

Hard to see him go. He improved significantly every season he was with us and I was hoping we could somehow get him on a reasonable deal after next year.

On another note, is 7-11 dead? I imagine Tatum might want to grab 0.

Really bummed to see him go - he became one of my favorite players in the last couple of years.  You always worked hard and improved and epitomize what it means to be a Celtic.

We will miss you Avery - and all the best in Detroit!

Yea the guy was a class act...
Never really opened his mouth but he had those piercing eyes that were intimidating ..
Really thought he was going to breakout fully this year as he was knocking down shots early averaging over 18ppg...
Then unfortunately as almost every year he gets injured and production went down and what should of been an all Defensive team shoe-in just had too much time off the resume..
Wish him the best, stay healthy, and go get your $$$$$$$$$$$

Avery always seemed to be the one who would be left without a chair when the music stopped. But he will be missed..

This was an outcome that I hoped could be avoided. AB has been great for the Celtics during the rebuild and unfortunately won't be with the team now it is close to being complete. I guess it had to be done. So long and thanks for all the memories.

I had a feeling this day was coming sooner rather than later. Avery, thank you for steady contributions, for always giving maximum effort, and for some truly spectacular basketball. You'll be missed.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.
