While I completely understand the reasoning why this trade pretty much had to happen, at the same time I haven't felt this sad about a Celtics trade since the Pierce/KG trade.

Avery Bradley was a huge part of this team - not only for his production on the court, but for his steady work ethic, leadership, and never ending motor.

I hope that in Detroit AB can get some more touches, up his scoring figures, and hopefully he'll get an outside shot at an All-Star game.

AB - I sincerely wish you the best and thank you for all of your contributions over the years.

One of my favorite Celtics of recent.  Loved this kid as he started to contribute off the bench with his remarkable full-court pressure in his 2nd year.  High-character, hard-working, team-oriented, tough.  I've only good things to say about AB.  This is the type of player that deserves a ring - not Kevin Durant.  He's gotten way too much undeserved criticism here over the years on C'sBlog.

Best of luck in Detroit AB.  Now I gotta change my avatar.

Much respect for Avery Bradley! He turned himself into a very good NBA player. Will be rooting for him the rest of his career.

Finally! Great dude! Really good player! Did all you could ask out of the 19th pick! Gonna miss you but I already mourned weeks ago.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

The epitome of hard work and persistence. We are not looking forward to those nights when he will be giving IT fits as Detroit's chief perimeter defender.

AB was a class act, who got better every year here.    Thanks for your hard work and play!  Sadly, he was the link to the old guys.

Thank you AB..you busted your butt for our team and improved every year. I wish we could have found a way to keep you in Green as we march towards 18. Best of luck in your career going forward.

Gonna miss you AB. True Celtic. Extremely hard worker and consistently improved your game. Maybe we can reunite in the future I hope.

He's been my favorite Celtic for the past few years. Class act guy who works hard. But I understand why this happened. Still kind of sad.

Avery Bradley may have been our BEST overall player in the last 3 years.  IT4 is lauded for his special 4th quarter performances and scoring. But Bradley plays both ends and delivers.
Realistically, he should have returned more.

Makes you scratch your head when a team like INDY didn't want him.  Might have traded for him and resigned him.

Cleveland- Wow, can you imagine Cleveland making a deal and was able to add him to pit against GS.

Yeah the Cavs would be a lot better when you substitute AB for Smith.  They would get some resistance to put up against curry.  I always thought a great spot for AB would have been Houston or OKC.  Playing next to Harden off the ball, and then taking the smaller guard on D.

I'm shocked Ainge opted to trade AB. He seemed like an Ainge guy and he's pretty much the last remnant of the KG/Pierce-led teams. I wish him all the best and I hope he gets paid big money next summer. Thank you Avery!

Tragedy.

Hope Avery picks a legit contender next year and wins a ring in his next contract.

And with that, the last link to the New Big Three era is gone...

Thanks for the memories, Avery. You deserve a big contract next year, good luck!

Thank you AB! I enjoyed watching you transform from a hungry rookie to a role player and eventually a starter. You will always be Boston's honey badger. I hope nothing but the best for you. You will always be a Celtic!!
