I'm divided on this. On the one hand Marc Gasol is a terrific player who fits the bill for what we need providing rim protection and rebounding. On the other hand he would require Crowder, Smart, Bradley just to make salaries work which really hurts our depth. In a vacuum his salary isn't that bad, he has 2 years and a player option at like 23-24 million a year which for a player his caliber is a bargain, and the 3 year length fiths in well with our Horford (2+1) and Hayward (3+1) contract length giving up a 3 year window before we hand it off to the young guys. However, he is old, and that is worrisome because old big man can get bad fast. If we don't give up our core assets (Brown, Tatum, LA18, BRK18) i'd probably do it.
