you don't understand the hate here for cousins? Its well documented that most NBA players who have played with him don't like to play with him and some wanted to be traded away to be away from him. Go Google it. People who got paid millions to bounce a ball near cousins hated cousins, yet you can't understand the hate from fans? Wow. I wouldn't be surprised if it wanted to be traded from the kings because of cousins
You understand that he played with one team for almost the entirety of his NBA career, correct? That's not a large sample size. Additionally, it's the Kings, a team with one of the worst front offices in the league. In telling me to "Google it", I found this article, you should check it out:
http://www.oregonlive.com/nba/index.ssf/2017/02/demarcus_cousins_traded_nba_fa.html Not only do fans like myself think the trade to NO was a steal, but even players understand his ridiculous amount of talent and how grossly undervalued his services are to be traded to NO. This includes your example in IT, who made a pretty funny jab at the Kings for making such a lopsided trade.
Cousins is disliked by the front office, the media, and the fans because his attitude is immature and people have catastrophized his character. If you want to use his outbursts against his coach, front office personnel, or even the time he got into it with OJ Mayo, then I completely understand, but I think you're arguing the wrong points and against a tremendous player. I'd settle for an experiment involving a 7-footer who nearly averages 28 ppg, 12 rpg, and 5 apg who has a perceived attitude.
And just to be clear, I definitely feel that Cousins has growing up to do and I get the concern, but I don't believe it's something that can't be worked on in the right situation and environment. Barkley panned out to be a pretty nice player.
