He has a really nice, smooth stroke. It resembles KD's form quite a bit with that high release and prominent flick of the wrist.

Bank it: he's going to be an elite shooter from beyond the arc from the forward position.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

That stroke is so pure.  It looks so effortless.  Easy to see why Ainge wanted him.

Nice. Quick but not rushed. Great elbow placement. Shot starts just a tad bit low but thats easily fixed and no big deal. Smooth follow through. Great consistency. Just excellent form overall.

It's amazing how NBA players are just automatic when left wide open. Tatum's form looks good but I wouldn't read too much into him making uncontested 3's in practice.

For reference, here's a 42 year old Allen Iverson knocking down shots from all angles. Nobody would've considered him a good NBA three point shooter. Just goes to show that you should take these things with a grain of salt to say the least.

Edit: fast forward to around 50 seconds to see him shooting

I hope we keep him..i really think he is the best player in this draft class along with Fox
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Best part is, Jaylen Brown looked even better, beating Tatum in a three point contest for the second day in a row. These two are going to be a force together

Better making open 3s then not making ...

Tatums trainning camp made Tatum and Semi shoot 250 3s in the shortest amount of time. Looks like its paying off

Well by those standards Fultz sucks then, as he shot poorly in his workouts with the Celtics and Sixers. The Sixers workout was live streamed and we saw him brick a ton of open threes

That stroke is so pure.  It looks so effortless.  Easy to see why Ainge wanted him.

It looks a little stiff to me. He's a good spot-up shooter but his shot starts to break down under duress and on the move.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

I would not call his stroke smooth.  He's got this two motion thing going on.  Probably not a big deal but should try to clean that up over time.

From the 3 pt line 'stiff' is ok... He is no steph curry...just has to make the open 3 consistently

And the fact that Jaylen is shooting as well or better than Tatum could be taken in two ways.  I see most taking it as Jaylen improving.  And he may well have.  But just as likely, this should temper what this sort of practice really means (which is not much).

The other day my 13 year old made 15 threes in a row and frequently hits over 90% of threes in practice.  So basically, it's cool but nothing spectacular.

He's 19 years old for God's sake.
He has plenty of time to improve.
