Just saw that the Jazz traded for Rubio and immediately came on LOL.

Is this good or bad for us in the pursuit of Hayward? Does this mean Hill is gone pretty much?

Hill is 100% gone. It's good in the sense that Hill is gone, but if you wanted to take a negative stance, the Jazz cut their losses and landed a pretty good replacement. However, I see it is a win for us.

Yeah it seems like replacing Hill with Rubio works in Miami's and Boston's favor.

Wonder if they keep Ingles or not.

well, we will find out soon enough. but since utah could/would not pay for hill, rubio may serve as a plan B in wayward's mind. this may be seen as utah being willing to build the team for hayward.

whether this convinces hayward or backfires we won't know. i am not sure hayward really knows right now.

Depends also on what Utah does with Ingles, but honestly how else can they really improve the roster? Already went from Hill to a Plan B. Now what?

Apparently Hayward really loved Hill though, so that could be a factor.
