Indiana will take it. Paul george is in the drivers seat and makes the calls, not indiana. No team wants to rent PG. I guarantee that LA is the best offer out of  all teams offers

yup.......Pacers may be in a panic mode and pull a Kings boogie trade ......just to do the deal and move on and not hassel all year waiting out better deals .

I knew Magic was not messing around .   He ll,be at cap in a year .  ....

Magic wants to win now ...not latter.......thats always been the Laker way .......Mitch bit the dust thinking too slow .

If this trade goes through I'm glad we get that King's pick in 2019 rather than that Lakers pick next year....

Regarding PG13 to Boston for these 'insane' packages you post a bunch... @rondohondo...

He's LA bound (either now or 2018), period.

It *literally* is not. It's been widely reported that the Cavs are putting Love on the table for George, but Indy has so far resisted without a third team. But Love is clearly a better offer than that LA offer, and I guarantee several other teams have already put in better offers than that LA poo poo platter.
Yeah, it seems like they'd be able to flip Love for a better return than that, no problem.

I am sure some team may make a better offer that is pile of trash for Paul George.   I would ask for 2 and 28 and a player at a minimum.

Pacers will take it. It's a crap offer but I doubt other than Cleveland anyone will beat it.

But that's what I don't get - why not take the better offer from Cleveland?

At this point, there's no love lost between Indy and George with how he's done them dirty in the past 36 hours or so. Why not take the best possible deal? I don't get it. I still bet they'd make that trade before the Lakers trade, but they're seeing what else is out there at the moment.

So is lonzo, Lopez, Ingram and George a playoff team out west? Maybe, but more likely a late lottery / fringe playoff contender ... and if they want to sign Lebron (which is at this point total speculation, but whatever) would they have the money to do so and retain George?

They do, BUT Lopez is not staying after next season unless he's willing to play for like $3, and Ingram and Ball are going to have to step up big time early on.

I normally don't listen to Cowherd, but he's right. The Lakers have ZERO all stars right now. Even if they add PG13 and Lebron, SOMEONE else has to become a legit star.

Think about it

Larry legend is still in the organization. What team do you think he would choose to trade him to?

LA or Boston?

I don't get it. WHY CAN'T WE JUST BEAT THIS.

Why are we waiting for Hayward? Is it 100% in the works? The waiting game is no fun. I want my SUPERSTAR NOW!

Okay, okay, I'll calm down.

But seriously, of all teams interested, why aren't we in this one? Its either Ainge not interested, or an under the radar move by Ainge to swoop in.

Bird is a Celtic in and out, but he's a greedy on of a !@#$!,

He'll take the best deal that benefits him. Yes, he's made some heady and dumb moves, but at the time, they were all considered safe moves. A lot can change quickly. Even in a year.

Griffin can prove that. Warriors can prove that. KD can prove that.

Hopefully, its our time to shine. Bring PG13, next to Thomas, and Horford?

Trade the lakers pick for PG. If Lakers get him, the value of that pick drops so why not just deal it for him?
